{"id":102,"date":"2008-11-03T23:13:54","date_gmt":"2008-11-03T22:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/?p=102"},"modified":"2008-11-12T16:29:51","modified_gmt":"2008-11-12T15:29:51","slug":"mirrors-sweat-and-no-gears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/?p=102","title":{"rendered":"Mirrors, Sweat and No Gears"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My first spinning class&#8230;.<br \/>\nA lack of a working\u00a0rear light (I think the wet got into it on Wed), and no dry bib-tights forced me to try a spinning class at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.staffordbc.gov.uk\/static\/page4750.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Stafford&#8217;s new leisure centre<\/a>\u00a0instead of my normal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mammothlifestyle.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mammoth<\/a>\u00a0road ride. On Sunday night with my parents on duty to look after Holly\u00a0 I got dragged to Cath&#8217;s Pilates class and whilst there I\u00a0picked up a timetable for spinning. With the onset of grim weather and dark nights now\u00a0Winter is\u00a0upon\u00a0us\u00a0I have thought for a while an indoor session would be a pleasant change.<br \/>\nOther than sweating all over the floor it was very good. Apparently the session (run by Graham) is much more &#8216;dancie&#8217; than others, but the arm waving and lunges didn&#8217;t worry me and in fact I thoroughly enjoyed it. HR monitor showed I could have worked harder and now I know what to expect Ill be able to keep up a little more momentum between efforts.
