The problem seems to be the cold. They either threaten to break your teeth or crumble all over the track at your feet.<br \/>\nI decided to conduct a slightly scientific experiment by placing several different flavoured bars in the fridge overnight (4 degrees) then see which one is the best to eat.<br \/>\nI had also just taken delivery of a new flavour : Dark Chocolate, Brazils and Apricots &#8211; yum, so put one of those in as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Results are as follows + some feedback after racing with them<br \/>\n<strong><em>1<\/em><\/strong> Dark 70% Choc, Brazils and Apricots &#8211; Still chewy even just above zero and very yummy &#8211; my new favourite<br \/>\n<strong><em>2<\/em><\/strong> Dates, walnuts and pumkin seeds &#8211;\u00a0 My main race bar till now, good until about 2 degrees<br \/>\n<strong><em>3<\/em><\/strong> Cranberries, macadamias and dark choc &#8211; getting crumbly at 4 degrees<br \/>\n<strong><em>4<\/em><\/strong> Almonds and apricots in yog &#8211; hard on the teeth<br \/>\n<strong><em>5<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Peanuts almonds and hazelnuts &#8211; haven&#8217;t had the nerve !<a href=\"eat natural bars\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1209 aligncenter\" title=\"eat natural bars\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/2010pics\/2010\/03\/eatnaturals.jpg\" alt=\"eat natural bars\" width=\"483\" height=\"106\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/2010pics\/2010\/03\/eatnaturals.jpg 483w, http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/2010pics\/2010\/03\/eatnaturals-300x65.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/2010pics\/2010\/03\/eatnaturals-150x32.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.stodgell.co.uk\/2010pics\/2010\/03\/eatnaturals-400x87.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatnatural.co.uk\/View-Products.aspx?Category=EatNaturalBars\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This winter I have been struggling to eat my bars on the bike whilst competing.
