He\u00a0is also\u00a0raising money and awareness for Parkinsons Research.<br \/>\nHis route winds its way through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Portugal and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Riding a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msgbikes.com\/news.html\" target=\"_blank\">belt drive Santos bike<\/a> he has just crossed into the Ukraine on schedule after some good tail winds through Poland gained back some time lost in Western Europe.<br \/>\nHe is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globecycle.org\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">blogging and twittering <\/a>his way around the world and has all sorts of technology with him to keep himself amused during his hours in the Saddle.<br \/>\nJames also has a live tracking system &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whereintheworldisjames.com\/\">http:\/\/www.whereintheworldisjames.com\/<\/a><br \/>\nGood Luck James.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.globecycle.org\">www.globecycle.org<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James Bowthorpe (Brother of Tom who I was at school with)\u00a0left London on the 29th of March to try to break the World Record set by Mark Beaumont for cycling round the world.
