World Record attempt for Parkinsons Research<\/h2>\n

\nJames Bowthorpe (Brother of Tom who I was at school with)\u00a0left London on the 29th of March to try to break the World Record set by Mark Beaumont for cycling round the world. He\u00a0is also\u00a0raising money and awareness for Parkinsons Research.
\nHis route wound its way through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Portugal and Spain and is now in France on the last leg of his trip.<\/p>\n

James is nearly home and will be back in Hyde Park after his amazing journey on Saturday 19th September.\u00a0 The schedule for the final day is as follows:<\/p>\n

Breakfast 7.00am in Portsmouth ferry terminal caf\u00e9
\nRoehampton gate caf\u00e9, Richmond Park, London. 16.00
\nDepart Richmond Park 16.30
\nArrive Hyde Park (Hyde Park corner of Serpentine lake) 18.00- 18.30<\/p>\n

he is inviting people who ahve kept track of his progress to join him at the finish in Hyde Park<\/p>\n

James will have broken the world record by an incredible three weeks.\u00a0\u00a0
